Emma Milton - Founder

 

My name is Emma Milton and I am the founder of Oldford VA & Bookkeeping.

My carer has been in various sectors but the one constant is figures and organisation.

Starting out as an administrator I quickly changed to more finance roles. With experience ranging from credit control, large business accounts, fleet management through to management accounts and charity accounting I have a range of skills.

In recent years my main focus has been on charity accounting with the added dimension of funds which is where I now specialise.

The speciality skills I can bring is data and fund analysis, document writing, reporting and system management to name a few.

I also thoroughly enjoy creative tasks and using online tools to create documents, newsletters anything that is needed to be displayed visually as I understand that everyone’s brains process differently and having both visual and written words is so inclusive.

Alongside being a licenced bookkeeper I can also provide virtual assistant support for more administrative tasks. Check out my services page for all the tasks I can cover.

When “out of the office” I spend time with my family, I have two little girls whom keep me busy and we live on our family farm. When we get the time we enjoy going to National Trust properties and cuddling up with a film and are currently in the planning stage of a caravan renovation!

I am registered with various institutes and groups that are invaluable when being self-employed and also give an abundance of opportunities for further development. Also I hold full insurance and am registered with the ICO.
